Based on this passage from Once a Runner, I'm obviously a racer.

Currently reading:  A hardcover fiction novel, a reference textbook for school, a True Blood/Sookie Stackhouse book on my nook, and listening to the Lightning Thief on audiobook while I work.

I almost felt compelled to buy this for my buddy Matt, but then realized he was probably already prepared for potential zombie attacks.

Loved this quote in the book I was reading.  Liked the look of the pic with the flash and without, so you get to enjoy both as well. :)

Heading out to find the Alabama football game to watch.
Roll tide roll!

I enjoy stacks of books looming on my coffee table.
They don't whisper, they shout, "READ ME!"

Taken from my GRE prep book while studying.  To clarify, I'm hoping to get my Masters in Library Science to become a librarian, so I wasn't the happiest with this passage.  I sooooo hoped I had this to refute for my actual test.

To help fill the void that the season finale of True Blood has brought in to my life, I've started reading the books.  I don't think they'll last me through next spring, but it's better than nothing.

My idea of a great Saturday night:  pricing/taking inventory of colors of yarn at local stores for my new scarf business.  Barnes & Noble reading up on business ideas for crafty shizz, plenty of note taking, and some fitness magazines.  All I was missing was a Starbucks.  Stupid budget.

The idea of this photo was stolen from my friend Kathryn who did a similar (and amazingly awesome) black and white version the day of our "bookworm" photo shoot.  I love 'Arry Potta.

This is the book that I should've been studying all summer long.  Hmmm.... ooops!  Mr. Alien is indicating how much I have let to learn.  ;)  Thanks duder.

What this photo should be of:  a doe and her fawn munching some trees no more than 25 feet away from me.  Since I opted against carrying my camera on my run tonight...

Instead you get:  one of my favorite moscatos (yes in a red wine glass, don't judge) perched on the book I was *oh so excited* to get from the library today How to Photograph Absolutely Everything.  I'm a reader so it only makes sense that I would want to learn via book and trial and error.

Love this girl. Part of my inspiration to try my hand at photography has been Miss Kathryn.  She suggested we do a mini library inspired photo shoot for practice.  She's mond-o gorg-o so it was almost impossible to pick only one picture, but I think this is my fave.
